Play Ball!

Jared had his first 2 t-ball games this week! On Thursday night, it was classic: Jared was up to bat first, top of the first inning. He was playing on a field he hadn't practiced on before. He swings, and gets a hit! And starts running towards 3rd base! Everyone is yelling for him to turn around -but he makes it all the way to 3rd base before he realizes what's going on! The next time he was up to bat, he knew which way to run!

5th Grade Camp: After

He survived! And had a good time! He said the long hikes were his favorite part. And he liked playing games like Predator and Prey. And when asked what he ate, he said, "Apple crisp, cookies and cinnamon rolls." I prodded a little more and found out they did offer other food like pancakes, tacos, and pizza.



He smelled really bad when I picked him up, and I think he even brought everything back with him! It's good to have him back.

5th Grade Camp: Before

(I am giving up on Microsoft's attempt at blogging, (sorry Drew) and will try this one instead. My formats kept chaning, pictures kept disappearing, and other strange things were happening, so I have given up trying to fix and change things at our old blog. So here's hoping I have better luck here!)

Cameron is off to 5th grade camp this week! We dropped him and his stuff off at school this morning, and they are spending the next 4 days at Camp Waskowitz near North Bend.

Here's a before picture - everything is neatly packed, he is clean, and we haven't lost anything yet. I will post an after-picture on Friday.
